LTE (Long term Evolution): LTE was developed by 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership project) and is release in its 8th and 9th documentation release. The trade mark is owned by ETSI(European Tele communication Standard Institute). LTE nothing but a standard for the high speed wireless communication for mobile and data terminals. It is also called as 4G network. The network design was such that it will have reduced latency when compared to 3g networks, thus making it incompatible with 3G devices. It is a technological evolution on both CDMA and GSM. At present LTE is the fastest means of wireless data transfer in world. LTE can support a download speed of 100 MBits per sec and upload speed of 50 MBits per second. VOLTE(Voice over LTE): VOLTE is used to send and receive data simultaneously using LTE technology without compromising the voice quality.
