Why was emergency declared in India

On June 25th 1975 emergency was declared by the President of the country Falhruddin Ali Ahmed on the advise and ratification of the cabinet of Indira Gandhi.

What is emergency ?
Emergency is a period of time where the Prime minister have supreme powers to rule the country by decree.Civilians basic liberties like talking in public will be curbed.

What lead to emergency?
After 1971 after a big margin victory in elections Indira Gandhi was on cloud nine. All her loyalists and party members were in euphoria, but the happiness didn't last for long.

In 1971 December India fought with Pakistan which led to the independence of Bangladesh. It is said that during 1973 to 1975 there were many anti Congress protests and violence all over the country citing Indira Gandhi governments dictatorship like governance. Most significant one was Navnirman protests in Gujarat where a socio political protest turned agitation against the corruption of the top leaders in the government took place . This was the first protest in Indian history after independence to dissolve a government . Soon after the dissovement of the assembly ,elections were conducted in which Congress lost to Janata Alliance . In the same time there were many assassination attempts took place over the ministers and important officials of the government. Which clearly showed that there was a total chaos in law and order of the country .

In Bihar students led protests supported by Jayaprakash Narayan took place to dismiss the government , like Gujarat. But this time centre didn't agree and thus JP called on for day on day protests everywhere in Bihar .

In addition to that Raj Narain who contested the election as a opponent to Indira Gandhi filed a case of election fraud and misusing state officials for her own election campaigns which is against the law in India . The case was filed in Allahabad High court and for the first and last time in India till date a Prime Minister was called to court for cross examination. On June 12 1975 she was found guilty and the justice declared the election as void and null. But in supreme court appeal she was allowed to continue as Prime Minister but the ban on voting was continued. Which agitated Jayaprakash Narayan followers and led to protest in Delhi streets near Prime minister office and parliament . Indira Gandhi govenment found all these as uncontrollable and thus declared emergency on June 25 th.

LTE nothing but a standard for the high speed wireless communication for mobile and data terminals. It is also called as 4G network. The network design was such that it will have reduced latency when compared to 3g networks, thus making it incompatible with 3G devices. It is a technological evolution on both CDMA and GSM. At present LTE is the fastest means of wireless data transfer in world. LTE can support a download speed of 100 MBits per sec and upload speed of 50 MBits per second. VOLTE(Voice over LTE): VOLTE is used to send and receive data simultaneously using LTE technology without compromising the voice quality.
